Two More Writers

Earlier, I detailed the abilities of some of the Writing Women of Zurich stellar writers (post: March 19, 2015). They are such a shy lot and getting them to raise their hands and allow public recognition of their talents is a lot like pulling teeth from a hen’s mouth. (Of course, hen don’t have teeth though they have the genes for growing teeth…).  Sorry, I wandered off topic here.

Luckily, I heard from two of our intrepid writers and have listed a bit of information about them below.

DEBRA DANZ:

“Hello, my name is Debra Danz. I was born and raised in NY, but now reside in Switzerland with my two children. I am currently writing a book of short, dark stories. The book will be a dedication to my late husband who was a photographer, and each of my stories was inspired by one of his photographs. My work has been published in 50–Word stories; The Bookends Review, as well as their 2014 anthology; and forthcoming in the Journal of Microliterature.  I am also a member of a writing club The Writing Women of Zurich, and have contributed a few pieces to the American Women’s Club of Zurich web blog.”

MUFFY WALKER:

Muffy Walker, MSN, MBA, is president of the International Bipolar Foundation. Her health related articles have appeared in HuffPost, Kings River Life, Anchor and Mamalode.  The mission of the International Bipolar Foundation is to eliminate bipolar disorder through the advancement of research, to promote and enhance care and support services and to erase associated stigma through public education.

Wow ladies! Thanks for your contributions – to the Writing Women of Zurich website community and the lives you touch through your writing.
